Mystery Tyguns

Thanks to Elisabeth, who sent me this photo of some very smart Adidas Tyguns which she is having trouble tracking down. She thinks they were available in France. This got me stumped, so can anyone else help?

This isn't the first time I've known of a pair of Tyguns seeming to be available in one country but not, perhaps, another. Here's some others I've spotted:

Bunches of Chucks

Whilst there's no finer sight than a large collection of Converse All Stars, am I alone in thinking that a lot of these variants just suck?

Shoe Inspection

One of the many things that makes me a rather poor wrestler is the temptation to check out my opponent's gear (especially his shoes) instead of concentrating on the match. This photo seems to show a wrestler making the same mistake. He seems to be having a damn close look at that awesome Adidas Elite International wrestling shoe. And who can blame him? It's a great shoe (now, sadly, very rare) and this one's seen a lot of combat!

More proof that black and white photography really works for wrestling images. Great expression on the cradled wrestler here, and you can really feel the exhilaration of the winning wrestler too. And I love those great vintage Asics wrestling shoes!

Very proud of these great old vintage boxing boots. I think they are called Adidas Fight or Knockout. Does anyone know?
