Today I am mostly wearing... new white Feiyue hitops. Not sure they quite retain the great looks and proportions of their lowtop counterparts but, without doubt, these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

More Feiyue news soon!

Loving those vintage wrestling shoes!

Oki-Kutsu Crocketts

My ongoing passion for the white plimsoll has found a new focus, the Oki-Kutsu Crockett - an awfully complicated name for a beautifully simple shoe. Love those well-proportioned toecaps - not too big, not too small. I don't know how I've not noticed these fine shoes before!

These shoes can be bought (in many colourways) at Office at this link

Today I am mostly wearing...

...ASICS Mexico '66s again. Great shoes. Good looks and very comfortable.

PF Flyers Sportshu - reissued

These have got to be one of the hottest re-issues of the year - halfway between a Converse All Star and a vintage Bata or Converse canvas wrestling shoe. I am seriously coveting a pair of these.

PF Flyers have done a bang-up job on their website with these beauties. Check this out:

Plimsolls by Adidas: The P.Sole

Even major brands are getting in on the plimsoll act now, as shown in this excellent image of a black Adidas P.Sole sneaker by Sgskyboy. Lots more great images by him over at Photobucket.

Today I am mostly wearing...

...Black Feiyue lowtops again. They rock.

Wrestling Shoe Round-Up

A bunch of my Adidas Pretereo wrestling shoes. Great wrestlers these. I often wrestle in the blacks - the rest are for my collection.

Xhi Optical White Chucks - photo session

Haven't had these boys on for a while. Interesting sneakers. But I think you've gotta go a long way to improve on the traditional 8-hole "classic" hi-top.
