First, a big thank you to my friend Jim who, knowing how awesome I think these wrestling shoes of his are, has kindly allowed me to post some images.
I so want a pair of these wrestling shoes laced on my feet that it hurts. They are so very similar to my Bata Bullets wrestling shoes, of a similar vintage, but how awesome would it be to hit the mat in Converse wrestling shoes!

I just found a pair of vintage black, chuck taylor wrestling boots, like the white ones in the photo. I've looked online for information and saw your post. Do you know what year these boots were made? I realize this is an old post, I would appreciate any info.

Hi Terry. That's a good question. I don't know the exact years that these great shoes were in production. My guess is they were 1960's shoes. Does anybody else know?
